The Toll Roads is advising drivers to disregard phishing texts being sent to their phones that detail a specific outstanding toll amount. If you receive a text and are unsure, The Toll Roads customers can verify valid text notifications by logging into their account. On the dashboard, scroll down to account security and click “Notification Verification” or use the direct link at https://secure.thetollroads.com/accounts/notification-verification.
If you receive a phishing text, please file a complaint at www.ic3.gov. This is a site dedicated to sharing information on Internet crimes across law enforcement agencies.
Transportation Corridor Agencies Welcome New Chief Toll Operations Officer
Vincent Valdez brings more than 20 years of transportation management experience to the Agencies.
IRVINE, Calif. - April 13, 2021
The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), which designed, built, financed and now operate the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads in Orange County, are pleased to announce the selection of a new Chief Toll Operations Officer to oversee the state’s largest system of toll roads.
Vincent Valdez brings more than 20 years of transportation management experience to TCA in a career that has included roles at private sector powerhouse Xerox and transportation industry leader Conduent. In his previous roles, he has led customer service, high-volume transaction and payment processing, and program management and systems development. He has been responsible for oversight of budgets in excess of $100 million.
“Vincent brings significant depth in toll-related operations,” said TCA Chief Executive Officer Samuel Johnson. “His breadth of knowledge includes systems/technology, customer service operations, contract management, violation enforcement and more. This position is an important role for our Agencies, and I’m confident that Vincent will contribute to our continued story of success.”
TCA’s Toll Operations department oversees a Customer Call Center that received over 1 million calls last year and continues to earn outstanding marks, 4.5 out of 5, in satisfaction surveys completed by thousands of customers each month. In 2020, the department managed the addition of 206,000 accounts, raising total accounts to nearly 2 million, and oversaw matters related to nearly 300,000 daily trips on The Toll Roads.
Valdez began his role at the end of March. Among the projects that will be part of his initial focus are an operational assessment of the Agencies, as well as a transition to new internal systems.
“I am excited and humbled at the opportunity to join TCA. Working alongside Samuel Johnson at the direction of our Boards, I’m committed to enhancing mobility for our region by being part of the team that envisions and implements real transportation solutions,” Valdez said.
