The Toll Roads Drivers Can Now Pay With Cash at 7-Eleven and CVS Pharmacy

Pay tolls, replenish accounts and resolve violations at participating locations

IRVINE, Calif. - July 01, 2020

Always evolving to enhance and expand customer service offerings, The Toll Roads (State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261) have partnered with PayNearMe to give drivers the option to pay tolls, replenish FasTrak® accounts to and resolve violations with cash at participating 7-Eleven and CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide.

The Toll Roads and PayNearMe first partnered in November 2017, allowing drivers to resolve violations at participating 7-Eleven locations. In the past 12 months, drivers have quickly and easily paid more than 28,000 tolls at 7-Eleven locations across the country. Success and demand led to the current expansion of offerings and locations.

“Adding CVS Pharmacy to the retailers that accept cash payment for use of The Toll Roads will further diversify our customer base and offer additional ways to pay for those who are infrequent users, visiting Orange County or otherwise may not wish to open a FasTrak account,” said Samuel Johnson, interim CEO of the Transportation Corridor Agencies, the government agencies that operate The Toll Roads. “The PayNearMe program not only allows customers to make cash payments at retail shops they visit regularly, but it also promotes commerce at these local community retail establishments, which is important for our economy during these difficult times.”

Ways to pay with cash at participating 7-Eleven and CVS Pharmacy locations:

  • Resolve a violation: Present Notice of Toll Evasion to store clerk.
  • Pay a toll: Visit TheTollRoads.com, click “Pay Toll Now,” follow steps, select “cash” on payment screen, receive barcode, present barcode to store clerk.
  • Replenish a FasTrak account: Log in to account at TheTollRoads.com, select “Payments” tab, choose cash, receive barcode, present barcode to store clerk.

PayNearMe processes cash payments for thousands of businesses and government agencies at more than 27,000 retail locations in the U.S. using simple barcode technology. A $1.99 convenience fee is added to each transaction at the time of payment and the partnership comes at no cost to The Toll Roads.

The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) are two joint powers authorities formed by the California legislature in 1986 to plan, finance, construct and operate Orange County’s public toll road system comprised of the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads.
