Public Comment Policy Update

At the discretion of the TCA Board Chairs, TCA implemented the following public comment procedures for the Joint Board of Directors meetings.

  • The initial public comment period will be at the beginning of the Board Meeting.
  • The time period for the initial public comments will be up to one (1) hour.
  • Each speaker will have three (3) minutes to speak to be sure as many public speakers as possible are accommodated within the initial period of public comments that is set for one (1) hour.
  • If necessary, there will be a second period of public comments scheduled after all Board business has been conducted, before any closed session items.
