SR 241 Loma Improvements Project
The SR 241 Loma Improvements Project provides lane improvements in each direction on the 241 Toll Road from the junction of the 133 Toll Road to north of the 261 Toll Road. The project uses the existing roadway footprint to add one lane in each direction and shift southbound traffic onto the existing graded roadbed.

Overview
As traffic volumes continue to increase on the 241 Toll Road during the morning and afternoon peak periods between the 133 and 261 Toll Roads, operational improvements are needed to maintain free flow traffic conditions. The 241 Loma Improvements Project will add one lane in each direction and shift southbound traffic onto the separated roadbed between the junction of the 133 Toll Road and Santiago Canyon Bridge, just north of the 261 Toll Road. These improvements are consistent with the ultimate corridor envisioned in the original environmental plans.
Benefits
- Additional lanes for free flow traffic movement
- Improved travel efficiencies and roadway enhancements
