The Toll Roads Launch New Earned Discount Program

Starting July 1, prepaid FasTrak accountholders earn discounted toll rates on the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads

IRVINE, Calif. - July 01, 2019

The Toll Roads have launched a new earned discount program for frequent drivers with prepaid FasTrak® accounts.

Starting July 1, 2019, prepaid FasTrak accountholders who have their account with the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) and spend $40 in tolls on The Toll Roads during a statement period will receive $1 off every toll accumulated on The Toll Roads the following statement period.

The $40 is calculated using the base toll rate (excluding discounts earned from the previous month). Prepaid TCA FasTrak accountholders no longer receive an automatic $1 discount at The Toll Roads’ tolling locations.

On July 1, The Toll Roads also eliminated the monthly account maintenance fee for FasTrak accounts – a potential average savings of nearly $25 per year.

Orange County’s 51-miles of Toll Roads make up the largest network of toll roads in California. The 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads remain the fastest, easiest and most predictable way to get to and through Orange County. The Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) are two joint powers authorities formed by the California legislature in 1986 to plan, finance, construct and operate Orange County’s public toll road system. Fifty-one miles of the system are complete, including the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads. TCA continues to meet the region’s growing need for congestion-free transportation alternatives.
