Important Customer Advisory Regarding Nationwide Text Phishing Scam
The Toll Roads is advising drivers to disregard phishing texts being sent to their phones that detail a specific outstanding toll amount. If you receive a text and are unsure, The Toll Roads customers can verify valid text notifications by logging into their account. On the dashboard, scroll down to account security and click “Notification Verification” or use the direct link at https://secure.thetollroads.com/accounts/notification-verification.
If you receive a phishing text, please file a complaint at www.ic3.gov. This is a site dedicated to sharing information on Internet crimes across law enforcement agencies.
How do I pay tolls if I am driving a rental/loaner vehicle?
FasTrak Accountholders
If you have a FasTrak Flex® hardcase switchable transponder: Before driving The Toll Roads, add the vehicle's license plate number to your account temporarily and transfer the hardcase transponder to the vehicle.
If you have a sticker transponder: Sticker transponders cannot be moved from vehicle to vehicle. Before driving The Toll Roads, add the vehicle's license plate number to your account temporarily. License plate recognition will collect the toll(s) via your account.
You can also pay tolls incurred by a rental/loaner vehicle at TheTollRoads.com, The Toll Roads app or through your rental company.
Many rental car companies offer ways to pay tolls conveniently through the rental agreement. Before driving a rental car on The Toll Roads, ask the rental car company how they process tolls and fees.
Non-accountholders
You can pay tolls without an account within five days before and five days after driving The Toll Roads at TheTollRoads.com and using The Toll Roads app.
