FasTrak Flex® Switchable Transponder Installation Instructions
Clean Interior Windshield
Clean and dry the inner surface of the windshield where the sticker transponder will be placed.
Prepare Adhesive Strips
Remove plastic tape from the back of the mounting strips on the transponder.
Mount the Transponder
Position the transponder in one of the three indicated positions, in the lower left-hand corner, lower right-hand corner or behind the rearview mirror on the inside of the windshield and press firmly to mount
Update Your Account
Make sure the vehicle’s license plate is registered to your account to avoid violation. To log in to your account, click here.
Do you have a metalized windshield?
If you have a metalized windshield, you may need a headlamp sticker transponder. Some vehicles are equipped with special windshields that contain metal in the glass (metal oxide). This metal may prevent windshield-mounted transponders from being read properly. Certain vehicles with metalized windshields have a small “cut-out” where transponders can be mounted. Please refer to your owner’s manual for more information.
If I have, both, a sticker and a FasTrak Flex transponder mounted inside my vehicle, will I be charged twice?
